Job seeking on the rise

Poland enjoyed a 30,000 year on year and 11,000 quarter on quarter increase in the number of employed persons looking for a new job in Q2 2018, the daily Rzeczpospolita wrote of the recent LFS data, pointing out that the share of employed in search of a new occupation had been consistently falling to Q4 2017.
Should that trend be lastingly reversed, wage pressure may increase, the daily speculated. The number of employed searching for a better paid new job rose to 144,000 in Q2'18 vs 114,000 in Q4'17, the LFS survey also showed.
