Electronic road toll problem
The Polish government has fired the head of NASK, a state research institute dealing with computer networks, apparently in the wake of NASK's refusal to participate in the troubled electronic road toll project. Poland is supposed to take over the e-toll system from Austrian Kapsch by November 2. Kapsch would be ready to cooperate with government beyond that date, firm's representatives indicated.
