PGNiG drills in Norway

Piotr Wozniak
Polish natgas firm PGNiG has built sufficient competencies in upstream operations over the past ten years to assure that the latest attempt at building a Baltic Pipe will not fall by the wayside, CEO Piotr Wozniak argued in an interview for the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
Hopes are high for the Shrek deposit in Norway where PGNiG is operator with a 40% stake, in part as the deposit is located near PGNiG's Skarv deposit and the infrastructure is all in place.
Partners have recently agreed to a drilling plan. At Fogelberg, production tests have rendered "very good results" at 570,000 m3 per day. A production plan will be in place by November 2019.
