New bonus for pensioners

The Polish government is likely to pay out one-off bonuses to pension beneficiaries, possibly in March 2019, signals from the ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) indicated.
PiS leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski recently admitted that the government is now mulling different options of the payment.
The government could diversify the size of the bonus depending on pensioner's income, the daily Rzeczpospolita speculated. Ministers could also analyze granting PIT exemptions to pension beneficiaries rather than one-off bonuses, the daily wrote without citing any sources.
