Results of CIT lowering

The Polish government shouldered PLN 390 million in costs of lowering CIT tax rate in 2017 as 23% of the country's CIT taxpayers settled their tax liabilities in line with the new 15% rate last year, the daily Puls Biznesu wrote citing the data it obtained from Ministry of Finance.
The government had estimated that the annual cost of lowering CIT rate would amount to some PLN 270 million, the daily reminded.
Taxpayers who were able to take advantage of the lowered CIT rate gained PLN 3,200 per capita on average, the daily said.
