• Former Prime Minister Leszek Miller (pictured) feels relief and satisfaction, but also regret. Since he was a well-known personality, his family was bothered for many years. Many times his wife was crying and even his granddaughter, who is only a few years old, was pestered. Now he plans to devote his free time to family.


• At a meeting with students in Lublin, former president Lech Wałęsa boasted that he had two professor's titles, 100 doctorates and 20 times more medals than Brezhnev. He added that time had come for young people, so that in the future the country would not be ruled by fools. During the discussion he protested being compared with Andrzej Lepper.


• Vocalist of the pop group Blue Cafe has admitted that she was preparing a piece of news for the Turkish press for the performance at the Eurovision in Istanbul. Tatiana Okupnik, who is renowned for making fun of journalists, is planning to admit her Turkish roots. She also wants to say that her great grandmother is of Tatar descent.


• Actor and poet Krzysztof Pieczyński, who has returned to Poland after several years in the United States, says that cafes are best places for writing. He can't stand being away from people because he feels lonely. As soon as he wakes up, he does not even have breakfast and leaves for a cafe because every minute of loneliness is painful for him. In bars he sits in front of the window to be able to see the street.
