Radoslaw Sikorski
Poland's agreement with Russia regarding natural gas supplies to Poland should be finalized in the coming months and will be conform with the EU law, Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Radoslaw Sikorski assured at a press conference in Brussels.

Under the agreement, Russian gas deliveries to Poland will be increased to 10.3 billion cubic meters annually and extended until the year 2037.

The annex to the agreement has not been signed yet pending clarification of the European Commission’s doubts as to whether the agreement is consistent with European regulations.

Poland could run out of natural gas on October 20, if the annex to the agreement with Russia is not signed by that time, deputy Economy Minister Maciej Kaliski told PAP Polish Press Agency.
