Polish Finance Ministry eyes hiking Value Added Tax rate by 1 pp for 3 years, with additional receipts seen at 5-6 billion zlotys a year, a government source told PAP Polish News Agency yesterday.
The proposal will be included in the draft multi-year financial plan prepared by the ministry.
Earlier Thursday ruling PO caucus head Tomasz Tomczykiewicz told reporters that Poland will refrain from increasing PIT, CIT and disability premiums, but may mull "slight" temporary VAT rate hikes.
