One of the most popular Polish rock bands – Hey will give a live concert at the studio of the Polish public radio Trójka on Saturday to promote their last records „Do Rycerzy, do Szlachty, do Mieszczan”(To Knights, to Noblemen, to Borgeois).
Hey was founded in Szczecin in 1991by guitarist Piotr Banach and lead singer Kasia Nosowska. At first their melodic, guitar-driven rock owed much to New Wave and heavy metal influences, but gradually Hey adopted a harder-edged, more industrial-influenced sound. During mid-1990s they sold out stadiums throughout Poland. Overall, the band has sold over 2.2 million album copies.
