The author of this metaphysical crime story is trying to find an answer to a recurring question of guilt, punishment and responsibility for one’s deeds through an analysis of human behavior in a small community. The story is about a train accident which occurs in a small town. All residents saw how it all happened but each of them reports it in a different way. There are so many different versions that people start doubting whether the head of the train station, a very diligent man, is responsible for the accident. “This small town can be found in our hearts, not on the map,” Agnieszka Pawełkiewicz one of the actresses in the play says. “It’s a universal place with a railway station in the center”.
