Celebration Time in Polish and European Folklore

InfoThe permanent exhibition “Celebration Time in Polish and European Folklore” was created in 2013 to celebrate museum’s 125th anniversary. In the modern two-story exhibition hall, which covers over 850 m², and which refers to the big showroom aesthetics, the folk costumes from Poland and Europe, ritual accessories, religious art, fabrics, decorative ceramics and woodcarving are presented.
The exhibition is introduced by two additional annexes on the ground floor. The first one, “From Chopin to avant-garde”, includes instruments from the time of Frederic Chopin as well as the European folk dance collection, which was part of the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937.
