Grodzisk Mazowiecki Municipality has scored another success in attracting new investment projects. Eurinpro, an international company that has built 1.2 million sq m of warehouse space in Europe, the United States and Japan at a cost of 750 million euros, wants to construct a warehousing center in Grodzisk. The new facility, the first to be built by this developer in Poland, is intended for Gefco, a distribution company operating within the PSA Peugeot Citroen group. The center will be located on the territory of Warsaw Suburban Technology Park Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
When completed, the warehouse will house 30,000 sq m and 30 loading docks. The whole facility will cover 70,000 sq m with a parking lot around the warehouse. The project will be implemented in two stages and is scheduled for completion by April 2006.
Eurinpro's project for Gefco is located in the third zone of Technology Park Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Headquarters, warehouses and production plants belonging to Frito Lay, Danfoss, Raben Mazovia, Piekarnia Szwajcarska and other companies have already been located in the two previously developed zones. The total value of investment projects implemented in the technology Park exceeds zl.400 million.
