Safari

5 July 2006

An African buffalo's morning bath, scenes from the life of a pride of lions, and hippos wallowing in their favorite mud-these images and more can be seen at the Safari in Kenya and Tanzania photography exhibition. Antelopes, zebras, elephants, vultures and other animals of the Tsavo, Serengeti and Ngorongoro national parks were photographed.

The photographers Paweł Młynarczyk and The Warsaw Voice's Mirela Hein are not professionals, but their pictures capture the charms of the African safari and are a real pleasure to take in.

The exhibition is open through Aug. 29, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. in the Jubileuszowa Gallery on the 4th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science, 1 Defilad Sq. (Marszałkowska entrance). Admission is free. You can also visit Młynarczyk and Hein's on-line photography gallery at: www.szlaban.fotopic.net
