MIĘDZYZDROJE
Call of the Wilderness

By M.H.
30 May 2007

In the Wolin National Park Museum in Międzyzdroje, you can see photos of elephants, lions and giraffes in the company of a bison and a white eagle. The museum, along with a permanent presentation of native species, often hosts exhibitions of national park attractions from all over the world. This time, the museum "guests" are animals from the African savanna.

The National Parks of Kenya and Tanzania is an exhibition that contains photographs documenting everyday life in the savanna: scenes from the life of lions, vultures vying to be first to pick the bones of a dead creature, an African buffalo wallowing in red mud and a lost baby gnu desperately crying after its mother. Zebras posing in complicated black-and-white compositions and vervet monkeys perfectly blending with the background complete the colorful picture of the kingdom of wild and free animals.

Międzyzdroje, Wolin National Park Museum, 3a Niepodległości St., until July 4
