Retail Market: Award for Galeria Krakowska Mall

28 May 2008

The Galeria Krakowska shopping mall in Cracow has won the European Shopping Center Award 2008 in the Large New Developments category.

The prestigious award is granted by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), an association of retailers and retail property specialists with some 70,000 members. Galeria Krakowska opened in September 2006. It has around 60,000 sq m of shopping space and 5,000 sq m of office and technical space. The center consists of two covered arcades and three plazas, and is directly connected to the city's main rail station. ECE is the investor, designer and developer of the Galeria Krakowska project.
