First I would like to express my deep condolences to the family of Irena Sendler, the Polish social worker and hero who saved the lives of 2,500 Jewish children during the Nazi occupation of Poland in World War II, who died in Warsaw on May 12 at the age of 98. This selfless woman remains an inspiration to humanity for her courage and generosity of spirit.
HP Spurs Wrocław Jobs Boom 25 June 2008 Hewlett-Packard has created over 1,000 jobs in Wrocław-a city that welcomes foreign investment and is one of the largest, most dynamic and rapidly developing cities in Poland. On May 11, a meeting was held at the Wrocław City Hall to sum up the progress of foreign investments and HP's operations in Wrocław over the last three years. The meeting was attended by officials from public institutions, government authorities, academia and executives of the company. The main topics included foreign investment achievements to date, as well HP's future development plans in Wrocław.
