Stary niedĽwiedĽ mocno ¶pi...
An Old Bear Is Sound Asleep...

Stary niedĽwiedĽ mocno ¶pi,
stary niedĽwiedĽ mocno ¶pi,
my się go boimy, cichutko chodzimy,
jak się zbudzi, będzie zły,
jak się zbudzi, to nas zje!

An old bear is sound asleep,
an old bear is sound asleep,
we are afraid of it and we are moving quietly,
when it wakes up, it will be in a bad mood,
when it wakes up, it will eat us!

Przed zim± polskie niedĽwiedzie robi± zapasy i zamykaj± się w swoich jaskiniach, żeby przeczekać do wiosny. Zasypiaj±...
Before winter, Polish bears fatten up on food and “lock” themselves in their dens to wait for the coming of the spring. They hibernate.
Uważamy ten pomysł¸ za genialny w swej prostocie. Dlaczego go nie skopiować?
We consider the idea to be brilliant in its simplicity. Why not copy it?

Smalec - bardzo niezdrowy - zajadamy na kromkach chleba z ogórkiem kiszonym.
Eat the smalec - although it is very bad for you - on slices of bread with pickled cucumber.
