EXPORT

In 1996, Poland exported 388 million pairs of shoes. Over the two next years, the exports continued to grow.
The upward trend held through 2000, when record sales were achieved of 411 million pairs. In the two following years, however, demand rapidly dropped and sales diminished to the amount reported back in 1996. In 2002/03, record low exports figures were reported.
