Poland's parliament after a two-year public debate started working on bioethics law and huge discrepancies are visible between political parties.

The three main parties prepare their draft bills on in vitro fertilization and present different approaches even within the same party.

The opposition party PiS proposes the most radical drafts, rejecting IVF altogether.

The left-wing party SLD wants IVF legalized and accessible to homosexual couples, with several embryos created for selection.

The governing party PO presents a compromise view, with one more liberal and one more radical draft and the PM Donald Tusk assures the PO deputies will vote in line with their own convictions and will not be pressured in any way in the matters of bioethics.
